I find the Beaux-Arts period in Architecture very appealing,
There is so much detail and richness to these spaces,
The interiors matching the elegance and grandeur of their exteriors.
Warm lighting always really brings out the gold/warm tones in these interiors.
There is something so grand, rich and ostentatious of these spaces,
Fit for a King or Queen.
This tattoo is beautiful.
The way that the artist has created a ‘watercolour’ feel is breathtaking.
I enjoy the way the colours interract and bleed into each other.
The juxtaposition of the Magnolias against the skull, wings and other tattoos really softens the tattoo,
Making a more appealing and beautiful work.
The skull is also perfect anatomically, The magnolias photo-realistic.
This creates less ‘problems’ and lets the viewers enjoy the artwork,
Not being distracted by a ‘squashed’ or ‘warped’ image.

I love seahorses.
The way they move and sprint-swim away from danger is so cute.
I think it is the long, elegant frame with those ridiculous small, flailing fins.
I especially enjoy how their tale curls around seaweed/objects underwater when they sleep.
I saw them at the aquarium, sleeping, and I found them so cute.
“Stormy”, Ariel’s seahorse out of ‘The Little Mermaid’ TV series scared me as a child, though.
It wasn’t properly broken in at the start and nearly killed her.
I didn’t much enjoy watching that as a small child.
Nevertheless,
I am amused by the thought of the male seahorses having to endure childbirth.
Nature’s revenge.
